Floatcam UK is a subsidiary of Angelic Films Ltd, a successful production company based out of Pinewood Studios near London. It is run by Adam Coop & Trevor Coop, both experienced filmmakers and camera technicians. Trevor has over 40 years experience in the camera dept as DoP/Operator, including a 4 yr chairmanship at the GBCT.
Adam Coop is a GBCT and Ravensbourne trained Steadicam Operator with 5 yrs of experience on promos, corporates, shorts and low budget features. He has used a range of equipment over the years, depending on the shoot requirements, but his standard rig is a Floatcam FC14 with Back mounted vest, and a HoFo wireless follow focus. Since becoming the sole UK dealer for Floatcam, Adam has personally given demos to hundreds of clients, run training courses for new users (including the UK Military!), and provides a personal point of contact for help, advice and technical assistance for all Floatcam clients in the UK.
With the Floatcam FC11, FC12 and FC14, Adam has shot content all over the UK, and in the US, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, India, China, Germany, France, Spain, Holland and Portugal.
